Program: 2017 Red Cross Hurricane Relief

Wendy Vara, Volunteer Services Executive for the Mid-Atlantic Division will provide an update on the organization and highlight the organization’s efforts in our nation’s last monumental hurricane season. In her current position, Ms. Vara is responsible for implementing the volunteer growth strategy in 6 states and works with the Regional Volunteer Services Officers.

The group tries to maintain contact with local retirees and meets in April and October. The newsletter, Heartbeat, contains Red Cross photos, news and reports of local members.
